Utilities are not included in the rental price but a package can be offered on request
WHAT ABOUT COUNCIL TAX?
As students you are exempt from Council tax
DOES LEICESTER STUDENT LIVING HAVE THE RELEVANT GAS SAFETY CERTIFICATES IN PLACE?
Yes – all properties have the relevant safety certificates in place
DO I NEED TO HAVE A GUARANTOR?
All tenants need to have a UK based Guarantor
HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?
The deposit amount is shown in each individual property information
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT AND WILL IT BE PROTECTED IN AN AUTHORISED TENANCY
DEPOSIT SCHEME?
We do require a deposit, the amount is detailed on the individual property page. The deposit will be protected in the Government backed scheme.
HOW LONG WILL THE TENANCY BE?
The tenancy’s are for 12 months
HOW DO WE SIGN THE TENANCY AGREEMENT?
Once you have expressed an interest to rent a web link will be sent to you to start the easy process
HOW MUCH IS THE HOLDING DEPOSIT?
£100 which takes the property off the market and gives 7 days for all tenants to sign the paperwork
WHAT WILL THE RENTAL INSTALMENTS BE?
August, September are monthly payments we then move onto termly payments to synchronise with student loan payments
WHAT IF I CANNOT PAY MY RENT?

DO I NEED CONTENTS INSURANCE?
We would recommend that you get contents insurance on your belongings
WHAT APPLIANCES ARE PROVIDED?
Large Appliances are provided but not toaster/kettles/microwaves as these can be bought inexpensively between the tenants
.
AM I ALLOWED TO SMOKE IN THE FLAT?
No smoking is allowed in the Properties
CAN I HAVE A PET IN THE HOUSE?
No – pets are not allowed due to the rules laid down by the managing agents of the blocks
HOW DO I REPORT MAINTENANCE?

WHICH INTERNET PROVIDER DO YOU USE?
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY KEYS?
During work hours contact us, outside of working hours (9am-5pm) please get in contact with local locksmith who should be able to help
